Residential Services
The Salvation Army has a 20 bed hostel at St. Catharines Booth Centre. Stays are
funded through an agreement with the Regional Government of Niagara through the
Social Services Department. Clients will fill in an application for Ontario Works
upon admittance. Clients can also self-pay for their accommodation. Residents
sleep in dormitory style rooms and share washroom facilities. Clients must present
not having consumed alcohol or drugs. All medications are to be given to staff
for safekeeping. There is a nightly curfew. The front doors are locked and secured
by staff during the night. Three meals a day are supplied for residents. Clients
are provided with a complete list of house requirements upon admittance.
